Weekend poll: Motorola Nexus 6 – hot or not?

Earlier this week, we spent some quality time with the Motorola Nexus 6 ahead of its retail launch in November. We did quite like it, but now’s the time to hear your opinion on it – is it hot or not?

Before answering the question, though, we’ll give you a brief rundown of the Motorola-made Nexus 6. It’s a large, 6″ smartphone and for the first time in a while it’s priced to match the most high-end offerings out there. Google prices the 32GB version of the phone for $649 on the Play Store, and that’s a lot compared to the $349 price of the base Nexus 5.

However, you’re getting a lot for your money. The 6″ Super AMOLED display packs QHD resolution and under the hood, there’s a seriously quick Snapdragon 805 chipset with 3GB of RAM and a quad-core CPU. The 13MP camera is also to be taken seriously with 4K @ 30fps video recording.

Also, getting a Nexus 6 will ensure you to be among the very firs to taste Android 5.0 Lollipop and future OS updates for a considerably long time. The latest version of Android comes with a feature called Project Volta, which in theory should make the phone’s 3220mAh battery last longer.

So great specs but also a high price tag to boost expectations. Where does that put the Motorola Nexus 6 in your point of view?

We’ll be sharing the results of the voting in a week, so make sure to participate by then.
