Spotify coming to LG Smart TVs

LG has announced that the popular music streaming service Spotify will soon be coming to its Smart TVs. The app will be compatible will all the 2013 models and the service is expected to go live in the next couple of days.

However, you would require a premium Spotify subscription to stream the music. The paid membership gives you access to use the service across smartphones, tablets and other platforms such as TV’s and connected devices. If you are new to the service, then you get to enjoy a free one month trail before paying for a premium account.

Recently, Spotify announced free music streaming service for iOS and Android powered smartphones and tablets.

Meanwhile, LG’s Smart TVs currently have active services like BBC iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube, Twitter, LoveFilm and Facebook. The newest service will be available in 30 markets that include the UK, France, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Nordics, Benelux and US.
