Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet now available from Verizon

Verizon announced that the carrier will be offering the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet on its network. Just as promised, the slate has gone on sale today.

For a limited time, the Sony Xperia Z2 tablet will cost you $499.99 with a new two-year contract. At some point in time the price of the slate will shoot up to $599.99. So, if you are planning to pick one up, now is your time.

If you are on Verizon’s Edge early upgrade program, then you can get the Z2 Tablet for $29.99 a month.

To recap the specs of the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet – it sports a 10.1-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad 2.3GHz quad-core processor. There is 3GB of RAM on board and the tablet comes out of the box with 32GB of internal storage.
