Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet hands-on

We’ve got yet another hot device in our office that is due for a full review. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is one of the contestants for the hottest tablet of the year, combining a great screen, powerful hardware and an ultra sleek design.

Not only is the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet the slimmest and lightest full-size tablet around, but it’s also among the very few to offer water and dust resistance.

Just like its predecessor, the latest Sony flagship tablet comes with an OmniBalance design, which is really sleek design and scales impressively well to tablet size.

The new Z2 Tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 801 chipset with a 2.3GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with an 8MP camera on its back and a 2MP front snapper for video chats.

As usual, the slate will be available in two flavors – Wi-Fi-only model (like our review unit) and an LTE-capable one. Both versions are offered with 16GB of internal storage, expandable via a microSD slot.

And here comes the hands-on video showing us unboxing the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet and taking it for a spin.

The review is almost ready and should be up on our homepage tomorrow – stay tuned!
