Sony offers three free movies with Xperia Z3 devices in some markets

With the holiday shopping season set to kick into high gear, Sony decided to sweeten up the Z3 family of Android devices even further. Going forward the company will bundle three free movies with Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact, and Z3 Tablet Compact.

The trio of free movies will include “Ghostbusters,” “Captain Phillips,” and “The Amazing Spider Man 2.” The promo will run through January 31st next year and will include select markets. The latter include France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The offer will be available through the Xperia Lounge app and will include a promo code for the Sony Entertainment Network.

It is worth mentioning that only Sony Xperia Z3 for T-Mobile and Xperia Z3v for Verizon appear to be eligible for the freebie in the US. Unlocked devices from the company’s online store are not getting the special treatment for the time being.
