Pinterest is now available on Android wear

Are you an avid pinterester and own a piece of Android wear?

Then you’ll be happy to find that Android wearables will support pinterest, and the app now sports a cool new feature.

Let’s say that you pinned a place of interest before, well, with the updated Pinterest app that’s been programmed to work with Android wearables, your smartwatch or device will alert you when you get near a place that you’ve pinned.

Additionally, the alerts work with your tablet or smartwatch as well, and will even give you an option to navigate to the location of interest.

If you’re excited about trying the latest update out, you’ll be able to download it from the Google Play Store tomorrow.

The update comes fresh after the news that Google is releasing a new SDK for its Android Wear platform. Google also handed out some free smartwatches at I/O today; approximately 6,000, to all of the developers who attended the event. It looks like Google and developers are taking wearables very seriously, and the pinterest update is only the beginning.
