Oppo Advisor program looking for Color OS beta testers

Do you own an Oppo Find 5 or a Find 7 / Find 7a and love flashing new firmwares? You might be just the person to help Oppo develop its Color OS launcher. The company is looking for advisers among its “Ofans” to take part in the development and testing of its custom Android skin.

Here’s what you’ll need besides a compatible phone and the desire to participate.

First off, only season Ofans need apply – you need at least 20 bug reports and 5 tutorials or reviews posted on the Oppo forums. You’ll need a few hours each week and be familiar with Color OS. Communication with the Oppo devs will happen through the company’s forums, so you’ll need to be fluent in English too.

The advisory position will grant you early access to private beta versions of Color OS and you’ll have to help the dev team reproduce any bugs you find in new versions of the software. You’ll have an input on the new features Oppo is developing and outstanding advisers will get prizes. Advisers are also getting a special forum title for bragging rights.

The deadline for applications is June 2. Read more about the benefits, responsibilities and requirements for the advisory program at the Oppo forums.
