Night Tokyo shines in these Sony Xperia Z2 low-light samples

Sony Xperia Z2 with improved 20.7MP camera sensor was unveiled a few days ago over the MWC in Barcelona. We are very eager to test the new bigger sensor performance, especially its low-light behavior.

And while we are waiting our review unit to arrive, someone already got lucky and took an Xperia Z2 for a spin in night Tokyo.

The pictures were shot in full resolution instead of using Superior Auto Mode, which outputs an 8MP final picture the same way Lumia 1020 gives you a 5MP image from the 38MP sample. This means they will be very noisy, but retain the full detail captured by the sensor. We won’t be passing any judgments just yet, but we’ll be definitely exploring everything once we get our hands on the retail unit of Sony Xperia Z2.
