Motorola updates its camera app with volume button shutter

Motorola introduced a refreshed camera interface with the Moto X and later on released it as a standalone self-titled camera app in the Google Play store.

Now the app is getting an update which adds the option to take photos using the volume keys. The option has been standard in stock Android for some time now and most manufacturers have implemented it into their own camera apps, but it’s better late than never.

The app is compatible with the Moto X, Moto G and most of the newer DROID series of smartphones. Users of the app are also reporting improved, faster burst speed as an added bonus.

On its own, the app features many options worth having these days – separate focus and exposure abilities, new shooting modes (effects, sport, night, etc.) aside from the usual HDR, panorama and slow-mo.

You can find the app in the source link below.
