Microsoft Band lands in the UK on April 15

Today Microsoft has finally unveiled when its first wearable is due to head to international markets. The Microsoft Band has been available in the US for a few months now, but so far it hasn’t made it to any other places.

That will all change on April 15, however, because that’s when the Microsoft Band will be released in the UK. Over there, the fitness accessory will be priced at £169.99.

You’ll be able to find the Band directly at Microsoft, but also at Amazon, Curry’s PC World, Dixons Travel, Harrods, and O2. In fact, pre-orders are already up at the Microsoft Store, so you may want to go that route if you want to be sure you’ll be among the first people in the UK to receive their Microsoft Band.

The Band works with iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices. It has ten sensors, which, among other things, allow it to measure your heart rate, stress levels, and UV exposure. It has GPS built-in, a 1.4″ 310×102 touchscreen, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, and a battery that should make it last 48 hours on a charge.
