HP Chromebook 14 Touch goes official

HP took the wraps off a high-end Chromebook with a 14″ touchscreen. The Chromebook 14 Touch is the most capable Chrome OS device offered by the manufacturer.

The notebook’s biggest highlight is its 14″ 1080p WLED touchscreen. The rest of its specs include Nvidia Tegra K1 chipset with Kepler GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in memory.

Wireless connectivity options of the Chromebook include Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0. USB ports include one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0. An HDMI port is also on board.

The battery of HP Chromebook 14 Touch is rated to last over 8 hours on a single charge. Physical measures of the device are 34.4 cm x 24 x 1.78 cm.

HP Chromebook 14 Touch is already available to order at the company’s online store for $439.99. The price is $140 higher than that of the same model with bo touchscreen – hardly a surprise considering the upgraded hardware.
