Google Play Store debuts Final Fantasy VI today

One of the most beloved iterations of the Final Fantasy series is coming to the Google Play Store today: Final Fantasy VI.

Originally debuting for the Super Nintendo on April 2nd, 1994 (in Japan), Final Fantasy VI was an instant hit with fans and was one of the most critically acclaimed games of its time. Even today, it stands as one of the most memorable role-playing games to have ever been released.

Like many of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy titles, VI has enjoyed a release on multiple platforms. The version that’ll be coming to Android is the Playstation re-release, complete with 3D cutscenes.

Although a price hasn’t been officially announced, expect it to be around $14.99, like Square Enix’s other offerings across multiple app stores.
