Flipboard for iOS updated to v2.02, check out your friends’ magazines

A new update to popular news-consuming application Flipboard brings about a handful of new features. Magazine curators can now make fuller standalone profiles and readers can easily find what magazines their friends have created thanks to the new Friends category in the Content Guide. But that’s not all.

Flipboard opened the magazine curation feature to iOS users some 2 months ago with v2.0 of their app, but Android users only got it last week.

Here’s the full changelog of this recent update for iOS (v.2.0.2)

-Get a window onto your readership and curation activity with new profile pages.
-Discover magazines by friends quickly in new Friends category in the Content Guide.
-Select a social network and access options more easily in the improved share menu.
-Share magazines and stories with friends and family via SMS text messaging.
-Save images directly to your device. Tap item’s share icon, then “Save to Camera Roll.”
-Improved navigation for Google Reader RSS folders
