Check out the new Moto X official video

Motorola has finally taken the wraps off the second iteration of its popular Moto X smartphone, called, well, the Moto X. The new Moto X looks similar to the previous one but is bigger and more powerful now.

The new Moto X has a 5.2-inch, 1080p Super AMOLED display, an upgrade over the 4.7-inch 720p display on the original Moto X. This has made the phone go from measuring 129.3 x 65.3 x 10.4 mm to 140.8 x 72.4 x 9.97mm. To clarify, that’s bigger than the Nexus 5. The compact size was arguably one of the best features of the original Moto X but that’s not the case anymore.

Other than that the new Moto X has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5GHz quad-core CPU and Adreno 330 GPU, with 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB internal memory. The camera on the back is 13 megapixel with f/2.25 aperture and the one on the front is 2 megapixels. Unlike the new Moto G, the Moto X has a single, front speaker below the display. Lastly, there is a 2,300mAh battery.

You can check out the phone in the video below.
