Nexus 6, YotaPhone 2 get big price cuts in the UK

Following Motorola’s UK summer sale, which saw the Nexus 6 smartphone being offered on discounted rates, Google has also slashed the price of the handset in the country.

The 32GB and 64GB models of the device – which usually sell for £479 and £549 – are now listed at £304 and £379 on the Google Play Store. It is, however, not yet known whether or not it’s a temporary price cut as Google hasn’t yet officially announced it. Read more »

LG G4 comes with a free leather back and second battery in the US in July

Now that Asus has unveiled the ZenWatch 2, its predecessor is probably (slowly) on its way out. Before it gets discontinued, though, it’s getting its price cut. And rather substantially. In fact, this is the biggest price drop we’ve seen so far for the original ZenWatch.

The original price for the LTE-capable HTC Nexus 9 tablet with 32GB of storage was a whopping $599. We’re quite far from its launch, though, so understandably that has gone down. But you probably weren’t expecting it to have dropped as much as it has.

We’ve already heard that the One M9 is doing anything but great for HTC in terms of sales, and now Sprint may have sort of confirmed that through its latest move. The carrier is now offering HTC’s latest flagship smartphone for just $99.99 with a new two-year contract.

Samsung and T-Mobile now offer $100 off the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge

There is really no doubt that Samsung has created a highly likeable flagship pair. Both devices offer cutting edge tech and stellar performance and you can’t really go wrong if you pick one up. There is, however, the question of the steep price tag. So if you happen to live in the US and are waiting for a better deal on a new Galaxy device, now seems to be a the most opportune moment, as both Samsung and T-Mobile are running promotions on the Galaxy S6 and its edged sibling.

Samsung just announced its Ultimate Upgrade promo. It boils down to a price cut of $100 on the 64GB model, bringing it down to the price of the 32GB one. Double the space for the same price really sounds like a nice deal. The promotion is live now and will remain up until July 5. Motorola’s Moto G (2nd Gen) can be bought for just $139.99 for a few more hours

We often see carriers offering low-end or midrange smartphones for free as long as you sign a new two-year contract. Now though T-Mobile is trying something similar for a tablet, the LG G Pad F 8.0.

As a Father’s Day promotion, the magenta carrier is basically offering to give you one of those for free – no upfront cost, and no monthly payments either. Motorola will offer big savings on Moto X (2nd Gen) and Nexus 6 in the UK starting tomorrow

Motorola is planning a summer sale for the UK, which will take place from tomorrow, June 17, and until June 30. The two devices involved are basically the company’s flagships at the moment – the Moto X (2nd Gen) and the Nexus 6. The former being the one for people who like ‘normal’ sized phones, while the latter should fit fans of the phablet genre perfectly.
