Best Buy offers the Nexus 7 with $25 Google Play Store credit for $199

Best Buy treated the ASUS Nexus 7 to a hefty price reduction. Pricing of the stock Android 4.4 KitKat slate now starts at $199.99 for a 16GB, Wi-Fi-only version.

To sweeten up the deal even further, the electronics retail giant also throws in a $25 Google Play Store coupon code to get you started with your app collection. The deal is available both online and in Best Buy’s retail locations.

The discount is only available for the entry-level Nexus 7 with 16GB of built-in memory. The 32GB Wi-Fi-only and LTE versions are still priced at $269.99 and $349.99 respectively.
