Photokina is now underway and we’ve already seen new cameras by virtually every major manufacturer out there. It’s now Panasonic’s turn to join the fun as the company just unveiled its latest Micro Four Thirds camera.
The Panasonic DMC-GH3 comes to replace the GH2 Micro 4/3 camera. Along with the GH3 Panasonic also ousted two new LUMIX G X series lenses – 12-35mm and 35-100mm and a new battery grip. Read more »

The Archos booth was one of the stops during our tour around the IFA expo grounds and we got to see the newly announced Archos 101 XS slate in person and take a few live shots of the device.
The ICS-powered Archos 101 XS has a 10.1″ 1280 x 800 display and is powered by the TI OMAP 4470 chipest, featuring a dual core CPU and the PowerVR SGX544 GPU. According to the company it should get its Jelly Bean serving by the end of the year. Read more »

The Sony Xperia acro S stopped by our office and brought along its powerful 12 MP snapper and HD Mobile BRAVIA display in an attempt to impress us.

Canon just announced two new members of the PowerShot line of digital cameras – the SX500 IS and the SX160 IS. Both feature 16 MP 1/2.3″ CCD sensors and Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processor.
The S160 IS is the successor to the SX150 IS, while the SX500 IS is a totally new package. The duo is expected to hit the market this September for $329.99 (SX500 IS) and $229.99 (SX160 IS). Read more »

iPhone users are among the easiest prey to poke fun at. We’ve all seen Samsung’s iSheep-targeted ads, and we won’t even go into the flame wars found in some of the comments sections on our site.
Video artist Adam Sacks has taken the joke one step further by making a hilarious fake ad about the next-gen iPhone 5 in which he parodies people addicted to using their phones as a replacement for having a social life. Read more »
