Apple iPhone 6 vs Samsung Galaxy Alpha vs Sony Xperia Z3 Compact

The Apple iPhone 6 is larger, faster, stronger and readier than ever to fight the rivals on the Android side of the battlefield.

That’s why we made it meets the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. It will have a tough job, as both Samsung and Sony have really upped their game for their latest compact flagships.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is the company’s first metal-clad Android smartphone and its 4.7″ 720p display is identical in size to the iPhone 6′s, but not quite as sharp – 326 ppi vs. 312 ppi in favor of the iPhone. The difference is minuscule, of course

All three smartphones are extremely thin, but the Galaxy Alpha is the thinnest of the bunch. At 6.7mm it’s .2mm thicker than the iPhone 6 and 1.2mm than the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact. It’s also the lightest at 119 grams.
